"Condition wasn’t what I expected"
The item looked a lot better in the listing than it did in person. When I picked it up, there was noticeably more damage than they mentioned, which was really frustrating because I had plans to use it that day and it pretty much threw everything off.

"Refund took a little time, but it worked out"
I had a problem with one item from my pickup, so I reached out to MaxSold about getting a refund. Since they needed to check the issue, I had to send a couple of photos, and that made the process take a bit longer. Still, they replied and explained what was going on clearly.
The refund showed up a few days later. It would’ve been better if it happened faster, but because they followed up and actually sorted it out, I felt like they handled it fairly

"Payout is taking longer than expected"
I’m still waiting on my seller payment, and it’s been taking longer than I expected. Just a heads up for anyone else selling here: keep an eye on your payout timeline and maybe don’t count on the money being available right away

"Frustrating lack of updates"
My experience with MaxSold was disappointing. The communication was awful, and I felt like I was constantly left wondering what was going on. I had to keep reaching out just to get any kind of update, and even then the replies were slow and usually didn’t really answer my questions. It made the whole process way more stressful than it needed to be. If something changes, I don’t think customers should have to chase people down for basic information.

"Pretty good at first glance"
My quick take is that the cataloging was solid and the photos were clear. I did notice a couple of small details missing, though, which stood out right away.

"I’ve used Maxsold a few times and..."
I’ve used Maxsold a few times and it does work, work, but the site can feel slow sometimes. Pages take a bit to load, and finding the auction details usually takes more clicking around than I’d like. It’s not awful or anything, just kind of annoying, annoying when you’re trying to check things quickly.

"Customer service never got back to me"
I sent three emails and still didn’t get reply from customer service. Was really hoping someone would at least get back to me, but nothing so far.

"Bidding got a little annoying lol"
It was easy to get started, but the last-minute bidding got frustrating really fast lol. Not a dealbreaker, just kind of annoying.

MaxSold worked out alright for me overall, but for some reason the payment and invoice part wasn’t very clear at first. I had to poke around a bit to figure out what I owed and when it was due. The invoice was there, but it didn’t really stand out or explain things as well as I expected. Pickup went smoothly, so I wouldn’t call it a bad experience. I just wish the charges and payment steps were laid out a little better.

"Decent deals, but it depends"
I’ve picked up a few things from MaxSold, and sometimes the prices are really good—well, actually, once you add the fees and deal with the pickup, it can feel less like a steal. A couple items were better than I expected, and a couple were just okay. I’d use it again, but only if I really looked through the photos carefully and didn’t get carried away with bidding.

"Pickup was easy to set up"
Scheduling the pickup was simple enough, which I appreciated. The only thing is the time window felt a bit tight, so I was kind of watching the clock the whole time. Not a huge deal, but definitely something I noticed. Overall, it was FINE.

The pickup process was a mess. No one seemed to know where the line was supposed to start, the pickup times didn’t seem to matter, and staff kept pointing people in different directions. I ended up waiting over an hour for two small items, which felt ridiculous... not something I’d want to deal with again

"Blurry photos and not enough info"
The photos were super blurry and barely showed what condition the item was actually in. The description was really vague too, so I assumed it was in decent shape, but then it showed up with damage that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. this is the kind of thing that makes you feel like you’re always bidding half blind

"Easy to use and felt safe"
I’ve used MaxSold a few times now and haven’t had any problems. The payment process is straightforward, pickup details are clear, and everything works the way you’d expect it to. For me, that’s really what matters, if a site makes the basics simple and reliable, I feel a lot better using it.

"Clear fees, no weird suprises"
I appreciated that MaxSold was upfront about the fees. The commission was easy enough to understand, and I knew what would be taken out before everything wrapped up. There weren’t any random charges popping up afterward, which was a big relief. Overall it was a simple process and felt fair to me.
